PTI never retaliated against political opponents, Gandapur

Peshawar: KP Minister for Local Government and Rural Development Sardar Faisal Amin Gandapur has said that the Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI)-led provincial government didn’t target political opponents nor registered any political cases in both the last 9-year tenures of KP government. Because, he said, his party chairman Imran Khan has issued clear orders in this regard not to target anyone with political revenge. However he deplored that the imported federal government continued its fascism even on the day of Karbala incident and by arresting Shehbaz Gill and other PTI leaders and workers and brutally torturing them, they proved that they are actually the successors of Yazid.

In a statement issued here on Monday, he said that the hodge-podge of more than a dozen political parties has no faith in democratic values, nor have these so-called politicians come close to democracy. He expressed his regret that these imported rulers, blinded by political revenge, did not even spare the innocent wife and innocent child of the poor driver of Shehbaz Gill, and kept those poor folks in lockup, crying all the night. He said it is the worst example of fascism in a so called democratic government.

Faisal Amin Gandapur made it clear that all the leaders of PDM has used bad language against the Pakistan Army in the recent past, so who will account for it?. And recently, he maintained, in order to run away from the general elections, these former rulers started threatening to reveal the state secrets, apart from spreading lies against the establishment, but on the contrary, PTI is a pure democratic party that loves the Pakistan Army and it does not believe in undemocratic fascist tactics. He said that the imported government cannot cover up its past heinous crimes with the recent illegal and undemocratic repressive tactics, nor suppress Imran Khan nor deceive the nation.

Therefore, he said, they should remove naivety, adopt a democratic style and immediately stop targeting our party leaders for political revenge, he concluded.
