ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued notice to the respondents on PTI application in connection with permission for public meeting in Islamabad and has sought reply from them till today (Wednesday).Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Aamir Farooq took up for hearing PTI petition on the matter of permission for Islamabad public meeting Tuesday.PTI counsel Sher Afzal Marwat appeared in the court.During the hearing of the petition counsel Sher Afzal Marwat told the court IG Islamabad has refused to give permission for holding public meeting in Islamabad making security threats as basis.The CJ IHC while issuing notice to the respondents and seeking reply from them remarked we will see them on Wednesday whatever the options are.The court adjourned the hearing of the case till Wednesday.It is pertinent to mention here high court had directed Deputy Commissioner (DC) to decide the PTI application.DC Islamabad while citing security reasons and shortage of police strength had rejected the application .
