Lahore: According to the Directorate General Public Relations, Provincial Minister for C and W Punjab, Malik Sohaib Ahmad Bharth, inspected the ongoing Dual Carriageway project, which is was constructed at a cost of Rs. 20 billion. The Provincial Minister reviewed the progress and speed of the Dual Carriageway project. During this visit, he spoke to the media persons and stated that, in light of public difficulties, road construction is ongoing throughout Punjab. Under the direction of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the construction of roads across the province is was completed. Both former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz are standing with the people of pakistan. He further mentioned that all resources are was utilized to ensure the early completion of the Lilla to Jhelum Dual Carriageway. This year, four sections of the Dual Carriageway will be completed.
Provincial Minister Malik Sohaib Ahmad Bharth pointed out that the previous government misled the public by dismantling the entire road and leaving it incomplete. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has committed to completing this project under her supervision. The Chief Minister initiated the project in Punjab after taking it over from the federal government. The project was approved with public service in mind. He added that Rs. 8.5 billion has already been released for this road, and work is progressing at a record pace. The Dual Carriageway project will soon be completed.
