Lahore: Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar will lead the provincial contingent in the 35th edition of the National Games, Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Khizar Afzaal Chaudhry announced during a visit to Nishtar Park Sports Complex.

During his inspection, Khizr Afzaal Chaudhry reviewed arrangements for Punjab athletes' training camps and visited Punjab Stadium, International Tennis Stadium, and National Hockey Stadium. He also inspected hostels and mess facilities, directing administrators to ensure cleanliness and proper food arrangements, and ordered anti-dengue measures at all sports venues and hostels.

The DG noted that Punjab teams will report to training camps on November 23. He confirmed that top SBP officers have been assigned to oversee preparations and that the province aims to field a well-prepared contingent for the National Games, scheduled in Karachi from December 6 to 13.
