Lahore: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Emir Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said family enterprise and cult based political parties can't bring change in the society.Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed these views while addressing lacs of participants of Ijtima-e-Aam at Minar-e-Pakistan, on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, Emir JI said that the nation wouldn't allow the government to accept the supremacy of the United States in connection with foreign policy and internal affairs of Pakistan.Islam is a system of governance based on justice and it is evolved gradually as Hazrat Muhammad SAW demonstrated in 23 years, he said, adding that Islam doesn't provide immunity to anyone be it a marshal or president.On the occasion, he stressed the need to bring reforms in all sectors of the country.Talking about the youth, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said the youth in Pakistan are desperate for a change in the society and the country. He said that the JI will provide guidance and empower the youth to transform Pakistan into an Islamic welfare state.He directed his party workers to respect every young political worker, no matter which party he or she belongs to. Anyone who is intended to play his or her role for Pakistan is respectable, he said while directing his party workers to invite all political workers without any discrimination to join the struggle to change the corrupt and dilapidated system in country.Talking about reforms to empower people, he lambasted the Punjab government and questioned why it has not held local government elections in the past one and half decades. The PML-N should value and respect votes, he said.Talking about the education sector, he said the provincial governments allocate tens of billions of rupees for the education sector, yet the situation in the sector is utterly disappointing. Some Some 26.2 million children are out of schools due to the flawed governmental policies.We want to promote industries and industrialists but not capitalism, he said while talking about how industries a nd industrialists are exploited in the country.PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari claims to be a democrat, however he himself is a typical feudal landlord. He questioned why the people of rural Sindh, including peasants, children, and daily-wage women workers, are still deprived of their rights. 'A capitalist mindset is making the poor even poorer,' he said, adding that the 'Badal Do Nizam' (Change the System) movement must also be expanded within Sindh to eliminate feudalism and oppression.Hafiz Naeemur Rehman reiterated Jamaat-e-Islami's stance of rejecting all constitutional amendments that contradict Islam. If given the opportunity, he promised to fully empower institutions at the grassroots level, establish neighborhood justice committees, and reform the judicial system in accordance with the Constitution.He said that Bhutto and Imran Khan had raised slogans against feudalism but later made the same feudal lords their political guardians. 'We will not come to power through anyone's blessings but t hrough the will of the people,' he said, adding that corporate feudalism has now replaced traditional feudalism, enslaving the public even further. Jamaat-e-Islami, he said, will ensure that farmers receive their rightful share of the wealth created by their own labor.He said the movement is committed to establishing equal education for all, ensuring labor rights, and guaranteeing fundamental rights for women according to the Constitution. He also condemned the entrenched power of feudal lords, tribal chiefs, generals, and bureaucrats who 'exploit 250 million people to please their superiors.''The state is prepared to enforce its writ in every matter except providing education to the youth,' he said.Furthermore, a prize distribution ceremony was held in the program to encourage the young talent in the society.Seasoned economists, political scientists and industrialists shared their views shed light on the potential of Pakistan and the red tape culture, coupled with corruption in almost every sector.
