ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has directed administrative committee of Railway Golf Club to complete bidding process as soon as possible.

The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial remarked "we are not happy with all this process. I have become weary of this case. National asset has been made joke. Railway is also facing this situation.

Railway Golf Club case came up for hearing before a 3-member bench of SC presided over by the CJP Friday.

Additional Attorney General (AAG) told the court all the bidders were rejected in first bidding. Now bidding will have to be started afresh.

CJP remarked Golf club authorities will go on rejecting such all bidders and then the time will be wasted. There are three Railway members in complaint committee. Railway employees have what experience of business or golf. We will review progress in bidding process in the month of September.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till September.
