Mardan: Mardan Amn Jirga and Markazi Tanzeem-e-Tajiran on Thursday staged protest against the use of Ice drug, ten wheeler and other narcotics.

The protesters were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans against Ice drug and ten wheeler drugs. Large numbers of activists of Amn Jirga and traders participated in the anti-drug rally.

The protesters chanted slogans and demanded action against the Ice drug, ten wheelers and other narcotics sellers and dealers.

Speakers demanded the district administration and Mardan police to take immediate action against the Ice, ten wheeler and other narcotics sellers and dealers.

Speakers said that majority of the young generation in involved in using Ice and other narcotics. They added that the newly introduced drug ten wheeler create panic among the parents. Speakers said that 20 million youth across the country are addicted to drugs.
