Karachi: Period of deployment of Rangers in Karachi has been extended for further one year.

Sindh cabinet met under Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah Monday.

During the meeting approval was accorded to extend the period of deployment of Rangers in Sindh for one more year.

According to spokesperson CM Sindh, Rangers will continue to assist Police with the powers under Anti Terrorism Act.

The spokesperson said the new term of deployment of Sindh Rangers will be effective from December 9, 2025.
