Mardan: A function on Sunday was arranged at Mardan press club to remember literary and political services of revolutionary poet and political leader Mehboob Bacha, reported.

According to details, large numbers of poets, writers, intellectuals, journalists, educationists and people from different walks of life attended the function.

Speakers said that Mehboob Bachas’s whole life was a constant of struggle. Mehboob Bacha was a conqueror of speech and character and he never compromised on his ideology.

They noted that through his writings and speeches, Mehboob raised his voice for the deprived classes and the oppressed segments.

They added that in his 60-year struggle, Mehboob Bacha has always been at the forefront of human equality and the struggle against human oppression. Young generation should adopt the ideas of Mehboob Bacha and use them for the benefit of their country and nation. Several poets recited poetic verses and received appreciation.
