The meeting focused on key aspects of the event, including program structure, hospitality, and security measures, aimed at ensuring the successful organization of the conference. Ms. Misbah Khar gave a comprehensive briefing on the preparations, emphasizing that all arrangements are being made in accordance with international standards and diplomatic protocols.

It was confirmed that both Houses of the Russian Parliament will participate in the ISC. The two sides also discussed broader participation from other national parliaments and the expected level of international representation.

Ms. Khar stated that October 30 has been set as the final deadline for confirmation of participation from member states, noting that a clearer picture of global representation will emerge thereafter.

Reaffirming the importance of Pakistan-Russia parliamentary cooperation, Ms. Khar appreciated Russia's active role in promoting parliamentary diplomacy and interfaith dialogue. 'Russia is a valued member state, and we look forward to welcoming its parliamentary delegation to Pakistan,' she added.

The meeting marks a significant step toward ensuring robust international participation in the upcoming ISC, which will focus on themes such as faith, interfaith harmony, and the global challenge of climate change - aiming to foster dialogue and unity among parliaments worldwide.
