Karachi: Sindh Assembly (SA) has passed Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) resolution on abolition of levy.

SA met under speaker Awais Qadir Shah. JI MPA Muhammad Farooq moved the resolution for abolition of levy which was passed .

Sindh interior minister Zia ul Hassan Lanjar said this is federal matter and Sindh government cannot abolish levy. We can demand of federal government to abolish it.

It was said in the resolution SA demands from federal government levy tax be abolished.

SA approved the resolution.
