Nowshera: Sahibzada Waseem Haider has been elected as the Nazim-e-Aala of Islami Jamiat Talaba Pakistan.

The three-day annual Arkaan convention of Islami Jamiat Talaba Pakistan was held at the Muslim Education Complex, Azakhel, Nowshera. Through a secret ballot, members of Islami Jamiat Talaba Pakistan elected Sahibzada Waseem Haider, a PhD scholar from the Department of Public Relations at the University of Peshawar, as Nazim-e-Aala for the 2026-27 Session.

Sahibzada Waseem Haider previously served as Secretary General (Mu'tamid-e-Aam) of Islami Jamiat Talaba Pakistan during the 2025 session. Earlier, from 2023 to 2024, he served for two years as Nazim of Islami Jamiat Talaba Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, one year as Provincial General Secretary, one year as Assistant Secretary General, and also remained Nazim of Peshawar for two years.
