Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) constitutional bench has remarked this policy decision be also made civil system has failed and all the cases be sent to military court.

A 7-member SC constitutional bench presided over by justice Amin ud Din Khan took up for hearing intra court appeals in case pertaining to trial of civilians in military court Monday;

Attorney General (AG) Mansoor Usman Awan while giving arguments said I have to give arguments on 3 points. Khawaja Haris counsel for defence ministry has given arguments on May 9 incidents. I will put some details on this matter before the court. My second part will comprise assurances made during hearing of central case. .

AG said the third point of arguments will relate to right to appeal. The matter of giving right to appeal to those facing military trial is policy matter. I can place my submissions before court on this matter after taking directions.

He said Sindh kanal issue remained under discussion earlier. Now attention is all on what India has done. Today there was departure for International court of justice but it was cancelled.

AG said I have placed representation. The court has to decide either time has to be given or not. Clauses are there in military act since 1967.
