Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) Constitutional Bench has rejected Latif Khosa plea for shifting to public jail the persons detained in connection with the case of trial of civilians in military courts.A seven members SC constitutional bench presided over by Justice Amin ud Din Khan heard the case Tuesday.At the inception of hearing Additional Attorney General (AAG) while praying the court to adjourn the hearing said Khawaja Haris counsel for defence ministry is ailing. He has trouble in stomach, therefore, he cannot appear in the court.Lawyer Latif Khosa requested the court to shift detained persons to public jails.The constitutional bench rejected it.Latif Khosa said we can meet the arrested persons in public jails at least.Justice Amin ud Din Khan remarked Attorney General (AG) has held out assurance in connection with meeting.AAG said meeting is being arranged.Justice Amin ud Din Khan remarked we are hearing the case. You should not go to some other side.The court adjourned the he aring of the case till Thursday.
