Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) has removed all the decisions issued by it from its website,The name of judges who authored decisions, subjects of decisions and list of cases have been given but no space is left in connection with details of the decisions.It is written all decisions were there earlier and they could be down loaded and read. The decisions were being reported in media regularly.The decision given by Justice Muneeb Akhtar was reported in media that he had issued this decision after seven months.Justice Muneeb Akhtar decision regarding levy tax on industries was issued after seven months.A 3-member bench of SC presided over by Justice Muneeb Akhtar had held last hearing of the case on February 29, 2024.Appeals against the decision related to levy tax on 43 industries were filed before 2-member bench of Lahore High Court therein.The decisions of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa and other judges are there with subjects but decisions are not available for downloading an d not available is mentioned therein.Sources said nothing has become clear with reference to it as to why these decisions have been removed and what is its basic reason. Or some judge has complained.However no final thing has come to fore as to why these decisions were removed from website.
