Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) while suspending Election Commission (EC) decision of re-polling at 4 polling stations in constituency PB-9 Kohlu of Balochistan Assembly on August 27 has restored membership of PML-N candidate Mir Changez Khan Marri .

The court while issuing notice to the respondents in the case has adjourned the hearing till the last week of August.

A 3-member bench of SC presided over by Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan took up for hearing petition filed by Mir Changez Khan Marri against EC decision.

EC had ordered to hold re-polling in at 4 polling stations of PB-9 Kohlu on August 27 which was challenged by Mir Changez Khan Marri in SC.

During the hearing of the case the SC suspended EC decision regarding re-polling at 4 polling stations and restored membership of Mir Changez Khan Marri.

The court while issuing notices to the respondents adjourned the hearing of the case till the last week of August.
