Islamabad: Search operation for the girl who was swept away with her father in heavy rain from phase-5 of a private housing society has been suspended.

According to RESCUE-1122. search and rescue operation was conducted for 6 days but the girl could not be traced.

Body of Col (Retd) Ishaq Qazi, father of the girl was found in river Swan during the search operation while search of the girl was conducted to the area of Gorakhpur.

Specialized teams of RESCUE 1122 Rawalpindi took part in rescue operation.

It is pertinent to mention here girl was swept away along with her father in heavy rain on July 22.
