Security Forces Foil Attempted Attack by Indian-Sponsored Kharji in Bannu

Rawalpindi: In the early hours of 18 November 2025, Pakistan Security Forces successfully neutralized a kharji from the Indian proxy group Fitna Al Khwarij in Bannu District while he was attempting to plant an improvised explosive device targeting civilians.

The incident underscores the desperation of the militants, who, under sustained pressure from Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies, are increasingly attempting attacks against soft targets. Their failure reflects diminishing capabilities and frustration in the face of ongoing counter-terrorism operations.

Sanitization operations continue to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored militants in the area. The Counter Terrorism campaign under the vision 'Azm-e-Istehkam', as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue at full intensity to eradicate foreign-supported terrorism across Pakistan.
