Islamabad: Security forces have killed 30 terrorists while foiling an infiltration attempt in the Hassan Khel area of North Waziristan District.

According to the ISPR, on night 1/2 and 2/3 July 2025, movement of a large group of terrorists, who were trying to infiltrate through Pakistan-Afghanistan border, was detected by the security forces in general area Hassan Khel, North Waziristan District.

Own troops effectively engaged and thwarted terrorists attempt to infiltrate. As a result of precise and skillful engagement, all 30 terrorists were killed. A large quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosives was also recovered from the killed terrorists.

The security forces demonstrated exceptional professionalism, vigilance and preparedness, and prevented a potential catastrophe.

The Interim Afghan Government also needs to check and prevent the use of Afghan soil by 'foreign proxies' for orchestrating terrorist activities against Pakistan.

The Security Forces of Pakistan remain resolute and unwavering in their commitment to defend the nation's frontiers and to eradicate the menace of Indian sponsored terrorism from the country.

Meanwhile President Asif Ali Zardari has commended security forces for eliminating 30 terrorists in Hassan Khel area of North Waziristan District.

In a statement, he reaffirmed that the nation's resolve for the elimination of terrorist elements and the defence of the country will remain unwavering.

The President expressed the commitment to the complete eradication of terrorists.

Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has paid tributes to security forces for eliminating 30 terrorists in Hassan Khel area of North Waziristan.

In a statement, he said the brave armed forces of Pakistan are standing like a solid wall to protect the country. He said the entire nation salutes the security forces.

He expressed Pakistan's firm determination to root out terrorism in all its forms from the country.
