Senate Chairman Expresses Deep Grief Over Gas Cylinder Explosion in Islamabad

Islamabad: Senate Chairman Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has expressed profound sorrow over the tragic gas cylinder explosion that occurred during a wedding ceremony in Sector G-7/2, Islamabad, resulting in multiple fatalities and widespread mourning in the area.

Chairman Gilani conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for patience and strength for those affected. He described the incident as extremely distressing, noting that it has turned joyous occasions for several families into mourning.

Highlighting the seriousness of gas cylinder accidents, he stressed that innocent citizens continue to face life-threatening and financial risks due to unsafe handling and poor safety measures. He urged all relevant authorities to fulfill their responsibilities diligently and ensure strict enforcement of safety protocols.
