Karachi: During the hearing of petition filed by former president Pakistan Arif Alvi against freezing his bank accounts , Sindh High Court (SHC) has expressed resentment over performance of NCCIA besides giving last chance to it to submit reply.
NCCIA sought more time to file reply in the court.
The court expressed displeasure over seeking time repeatedly by NCCIA.
The counsel for the petitioner took the plea NCCIA makes this request during every hearing. Reply has not been filed so far despite summoning Director General again.
The court directed NCCIA to file reply at every cost on next hearing.
The hearing of the case was adjourned till July 28.
The counsel for the petitioner requested the court to restore bank accounts of Arif Alvi temporarily during it so that he could not face financial problems.
