Karachi: Sindh High Court (SHC) constitutional bench has issued arrest warrants of DG Civil Aviation (CAA) for not releasing pension to retired officer despite court's order.

Taking stern step in the case on not releasing the pension to a retired officer, SHC constitutional bench has issued arrest warrants of DG CAA. The warrants are bailable against surety bonds of Rs one lac.

According to the counsel the court had already ordered to pay pension to Additional Director Medical service Dr Karim, But DG CAA was not complying with court's orders since 2022.

SHC has made it clear DG CAA will have to appear in the court in the first week of vacations and he will have to ensure the implementation of court's orders forthwith.
