SHC issues notice to respondents on petition seeking registration of case against governor Sindh, his wife

Karachi: Sindh High Court (SHC) has issued notice to the respondents on the petition seeking registration of case against governor Sindh, his wife, Deputy Commissioner (DC) East and others.The petition seeking registration of case against governor Sindh, his wife, Deputy Commissioner (DC) East and others came up for hearing before 2-member bench of SHC presided over by acting Chief Justice (CJ) SHC Justice Zafar Ahamd Rajput.The counsel for the petitioner took the plea her house is under-construction in Gillani Railway Society Gulshan. DC East, Police and Railway authorities have demolished her constructions. These constructions have been demolished at behest of governor Sindh and his wife.Counsel for the petitioner said the subordinate court rejected the plea for registration of FIR against governor Sindh and others. Police be ordered to register case against governor Sindh, his wife, DC East, Railway authorities and SSP East.State counsel took the plea action has been taken on the complaint of ille gal constructions on state land.Attorney General, Advocate General Sindh and Suleman Sabir counsel for TMC Gulshan have filed their power of attorney.The acting CJ SHC remarked the power of attorney of all respondents have come and court will hear all on next date.The court while issuing notice to respondents on the petition of Fouzia Nasreen sought reply on November 04.Fouzia Nasreen had filed petition under 22-A and 22-B in subordinate court which was rejected.
