Karachi: Constitutional petition has been filed in Sindh High Court (SHC) in matter of Gul plaza tragedy. Petition has been filed by Salim Michel advocate, Haris and others.

The petition said Gul plaza shopping Mall is the busiest commercial centre in Karachi. Several people have lost their lives in Gul plaza tragedy.

The petitioner demanded the responsibility be fixed in this tragedy and order be issued for initiating proceedings against those who are found responsible because Gil plaza tragedy is clear evidence of ill performance of institutions.

It was demanded in the petition orders be issued that government should estimate and compensate the loss besides paying compensation to the affectees.
