Karachi: Sindh High Court (SHC) has reinstated officer of grade 16 after 22 years. The court has ordered to grant promotion besides paying all dues to the officer. The sacked maintenance officer of Dawood Engineering College has got justice from SHC after 22 years. The court reinstated grade-16 officer Babar Baloch to his job besides ordering for grant of promotion and payment of all outstanding dues to him.

Babar Baloch was sacked in 2002 due to his absence from duty for 6 days. Supreme Court had returned the case to SHC in 2022. According to the counsel the college had sacked the principal due to his absence and had reinstated. Dismissal from service due to 6 days absence is against the law.
