SHC rejects appeal pleas against acquittal of accused in murder case of PSF leader and security guard

Karachi: Sindh High Court (SHC) has rejected appeal pleas against the acquittal one Umair Siddiqui involved in the murder of PSF leader and one security guard .

The court while upholding Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) decision has rejected the appeal pleas against the acquittal of accused Umair Siddiqui.

Defence counsel Muhammad Nawaz advocate argued the court rejected the appeal pleas being not contested. The acquittal of my client is as per law. My client was acquitted in 2019.

The defence counsel said no solid evidence could be provided by the prosecution despite lapse of five years.

According to police PSF leader Saeed Khan was murdered in 2012 and security guard Laeeq was murdered in 2010.
