KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) while directing JITs and Provincial Task Force (PTF) to hold meeting in recovery of missing persons case has summoned DIG Investigation with report on next hearing.Over 15 petitions related to recovery of missing persons came up for hearing before SHC Monday.Family members of missing persons and mother and father of missing person from Momin Abad appeared in the court.Report on missing persons was presented in the court. As per report the missing persons Farman Elahi and Muhammad Taha were wanted by police.Mother of missing person from Momin Abad said in her statement recorded before the court that she is making rounds of courts and police stations since 13 years. I want justice. My son be returned to me. If my son is criminal then he should be presented in the court.Family members of other missing persons said Muzaffar Ali Khan is missing from Sarjani town and Muhammad Arif from the area of Docks.The court inquired from the investigating officer what steps have b een taken for recovery of citizen.The investigating officer told the court JIT has held 25 meetings. The citizen is still untraceable.The court while expressing annoyance over investigating officer on non recovery of the citizen directed him to obtain fresh travelling history of citizens from FIA and present it in the court.The court also directed to initiate proceedings for recovery of Muhammad Faisal and other citizens 'Later the court adjourned further hearing of the case for 4 weeks.
