Rawalpindi: Former federal minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has filed contempt of court petition on being prevented from going to Saudi Arabia for performance of Umrah.Sheikh Rashid has filed petition in Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench through his counsel Sardar Abdul Razzaq Khan .It is pertinent to mention here Sheikh Abdul Rashid was to leave for Saudi Arabia for performance of Umrah but Immigration authorities did not allow him to travel in connection with performance of Umrah despite court orders.Justice Sadaqat ALi Khan of LHC had allowed him to leave for Saudi Arabia for performance of Umrah.Contempt of court petition will be heard on November 10.
