Islamabad: Registrar office Supreme Court (SC) has raised elementary objection over the contempt of court petition filed by PTI on the matter of shifting Imran Khan to hospital.
Registrar office has raised the objection of not sending copies of notice to alleged perpetrators of contempt of court.
Talking to media men PTI chairman Barrister Gohar has said registrar office has informed us about objections over petition. We have been asked that we have not sent list of allegations to alleged perpetrators of the contempt of court. Due to it file is being returned from SC.
PTI chairman said we will remove the objection today and file the petition again. We have requested number to our petition be allotted today. Tomorrow is holiday. The hearing of our case be held on the day after tomorrow.
Chairman PTI said the health of PTI founder is essential. The meeting of the family members as per SC orders is also essential.
Today is day of meetings. Let the meetings take place. No thing has come to fore during previous meeting. We have fulfilled our promise.
It is pertinent to mention here PTI has filed contempt of court plea in SC on the matter of shifting Imran Khan to hospital. The SC has been requested through the petition for initiating contempt of court proceedings for not shifting Imran Khan to hospital despite court's orders. The respondents be declared to have committed contempt of court and punishment be awarded to them as per law.
It was requested in the petition that Imran Khan be immediately shifted to Shifa International hospital Islamabad
Prime minister, law minister, information minister, chief commissioner Islamabad and IG Jails have been made respondents in the petition.
The court has been requested to initiate contempt of court proceedings against the respondents.
