Islamabad: Differences between speaker NA Sardar Ayyaz Sadiq and defence minister Khawaja Asif have intensified on salary matters amid the reports Ayyaz Sadiq has written a letter to Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif.

Ayyaz Sadiq said in his letter that he has no relevance with the matter of salary nor has he any interest.

As per sources Speaker NA made it clear the decision for enhancing the salaries is mandate of federal cabinet and PM. I have not made any demand or recommendation in this regard.

It is pertinent to mention here defence minister Khawaja Asif while strongly criticizing speaker NA Sardar Ayyaz Sadiq had said that he increased his salary to Rs 21 lac and now he is shifting responsibility to some one else that such person increased the salary.
