Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) while seeking solid plan for reactivating company and report on payment of salaries in the case related to Shalimar Recording and Broadcasting Company (SRBC) adjourned the hearing of the case.

Information minister Atta Ullah Tarar while requesting the court not to close the company has assured to file business plan. He told the court there is threat of jobs to employees due to closure of company . Government wants it should be reactivated.

The case against closure of Shalimar Recording and Broadcasting company came up for hearing in IHC Friday.

Ali Nawaz Kharal, Saad Khan and others appeared on behalf of employees of company.

Information Minister Atta Ullah Tarar appeared from government side.

He informed the court there is threat to jobs of the employees due to closure of company and government wants it should be re-activated.

Federal minister while requesting the court not to close the company has assured business plan is being worked out for restoration of company which will soon be presented in the court.

Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan heard the case directing solid plan for reactivating company be presented in the court.

The court included accountant so that he could review the business plan .

Atta Ullah Tarar told the court 70 percent shares of company are held by PTV and some funds have also been transferred and out of these funds the salaries of two months can be paid to the employees.

The court while directing to file report on payment of salaries to the employees and business plan adjourned the hearing of the case.
