Rawalpindi: Accountability Court (AC) Rawalpindi has approved permanent exemption from attendance plea of former Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in Takht Pari land case.

Pervaiz Elahi appeared in AC Rawalpindi Wednesday.

Judge Ali Ejaz of AC took up the case for hearing.

Sardar Abdul Razaq, Amir Saeed Ran and Sardar Shahbaz appeared in the court on behalf of Pervaiz Elahi.

The court approved permanent exemption from attendance in the court plea of Pervaiz Elahi.

Counsel Sardar Abdul Razaq said court has granted permanent exemption to Pervaiz Elahi.

The court adjourned hearing of the case till November 12.
