Tarar Says Imran Khan to Be Treated by ‘Best’ Eye Specialists Amid Opposition Sit-in at Parliament House

Islamabad: Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said that further medical treatment of PTI founder Imran Khan would be carried out by leading eye specialists at a specialised medical institution, as opposition parties continued their sit-in at Parliament House for a second consecutive day.

In a post on X, Tarar said that following ongoing eye treatment, further check-ups would be conducted at a specialised facility by top eye specialists, and a detailed medical report would be submitted to the Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, lawmakers from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Tehreek-i-Tahafuz-i-Ayin-i-Pakistan (TTAP) continued their sit-in at Parliament House and KP House, demanding that Imran Khan be shifted to Shifa International Hospital.

Opposition leaders claimed Parliament House had been turned into a 'prison', alleging restrictions on movement and access to food. They vowed to continue the protest until their demands are met.
