The state should neither resort to violence nor encroach upon the rights: IHC

ISLAMABAD:Islamabad High Court (IHC)  has disposed of the petition filed against harassing the PTI workers and barring the lawyers from the courts.

 

Babar Awan appeared in the court on behalf of PTI.

 

The court while addressing Babar Awan said this case has not ended till now.

 

Babar Awan advocate said this case has ended but I want to say some thing. Our workers were injured badly.

 

The court remarked this petition has come to end. The political parties should see while voicing protest.

 

Babar Awan told the court every citizen  has right to protest as per constitution. There are affectees like us. On the other side witness IS police and police station. Islamabad Police entered into the houses under what procedure.

 

The court remarked if some one was in D-Chowk and he was to protest then it was job of police to remove him from there. All the political  parties are very responsible. The state should neither  resort to violence nor encroach upon the rights.

 

The court wrapped up  the petition filed by PTI and Islamabad High Court bar association.
