LAHORE: Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Sirajul Haq has said that the world is celebrating New Year but Pakistanis are weeping, adding that there are queues for securing flour in different cities. He said that the youth could be seen on footpaths in search of the employment or could be seen at the airports as they are going abroad. Sirajul Haq said that businessmen are worried and due to poverty and inflation every 5th Pakistani is facing depression problem, adding that smile could hardly be seen on the face of any Pakistani from Chitral to Karachi. He said that people have become alive dead bodies, houses have become deserted, children are out of schools, there are heaps of garbage in the big cities, there is no clean drinking water available for people, adding that so called leaders, judges, generals and bureaucrats have become billionaires but the masses are in search of ration, adding that instead of this the sacrifice is again being demanded from the masses. He said that whether at any point the billionaire elite will also present sacrifice.

This was stated by Emir JI Sirajul Haq while addressing the workers convention organized by JI NA-128 and PPP 168 at Allama Iqbal Town in Lahore on Sunday. Deputy Chief of the JI Liaqat Baloch, Emir JI Lahore Ziauddin Ansari, Khalid Ahmed Butt, Ahmed Salman Baloch, Usman Butt and other leaders were also present on the occasion.

Sirajul Haq said that the rulers are not ready to decrease their protocol and privileges, adding that the debt of the country could be paid if the ill gotten money of some so called big leaders is deposited in the national kitty. He said that the troika of PDM, People’s Party and PTI jointly has converted the country rich with the resources into graveyard of deprivations. He said that the rulers are loyal to the colonialism, adding that they issue one statement against Washington and next moment they reach American Embassy for presenting clarification. He said that the masses should become part of the JI movement against inflation, adding that the nation should stand for its rights.

Sirajul Haq said that the central and provincial governments of PDM, People’s Party and PTI are due to the support of the establishment, adding that the PML-Q chief minister in Punjab is due to establishment and MQM also acts on their hint. He said that the rulers have paralyzed the country economically, politically and socially. He said that today the nuclear assets of the country are the target of the colonial powers. He said that the rulers present Pakistanis as beggars at the international level and due to them the overseas Pakistanis face abashment everywhere. He said that the disrespect of the green passport is due to the ruling elite, adding that the currency of the country has been destroyed by them. He said that Ishaq Dar should tell where are his claims? where is his magic?, adding that today national kitty is empty and dollar is being blacked.

Sirajul Haq said that the thousands of the containers are present at the ports due to non-opening of the LCs, adding that the people are unable to receive their shipments, adding that the banks are not providing dollars for the payment of the imported goods. He said that the prices of the eatables are touching the sky and flour price reached at Rs 160 per kg. He said that due to the incompetence of the troika and failed policies there is crisis everywhere but the rulers have no realization of the circumstances. He said that PDM and PTI are busy in their personal quarrels and they have made fun of the country.
