FAISALABAD: Dacoits opened fire on truck driver during the resistance on Sargodha road near Misaqul Mall Tuesday.

Regional Police officer (RPO) Sarfraz Ahmed arrived on crime scene to take notice wherein superintended police (SP) Madina Town briefed him about the incident.

Police took dead body in custody and sent it to autopsy and started the search for criminals.

According to Online News in early morning at 5o’clock, unknown bike riders intercepted a truck driver Samar Abbas son of Amir Ali 25 year old to snatch currency and mobile near Sargodha Nishat bridge.

After facing the resistance dacoits opened fire on the driver.

While receiving the incident’s information 1122 team shifted the driver to allied hospital in critical situation where he succumbed to injuries .
