US, Israel, India in evil troika against Muslims: Monem Zafar Khan

Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Ameer Monem Zafar Khan said on Sunday that the alliance of the United States, Israel and India against Muslims is a 'troika of evil,' adding that the war in the Middle East is being deliberately expanded while bombings are continuing in parts of Lebanon, Syria and Iran.He expressed these views while addressing an 'Anti-America, Anti-Israel Public Gathering and Iftar Dinner' organized by JI District Korangi at Tayyaba Mosque, Zaman Town, Korangi No. 4. On the occasion, JI District Korangi Ameer Mirza Farhan Baig also addressed the gathering.Monem Zafar said that resistance leadership in Iran prefers martyrdom rather than bowing before oppression and remains steadfast against tyrannical forces. He added that today the United States and Israel are openly involved in terrorism around the world and such examples are rarely found in history, while Muslims are being specifically targeted.He said that Allah has blessed Pakistan with countless resources and that Pakistan ca me into existence as an Islamic republic during the blessed month of Ramazan. He said the objective of Pakistan was the establishment of Allah's system on His land, but unfortunately this goal has yet to be fully achieved.He urged Muslims to strengthen their relationship with the Quran, adding that the last ten days of Ramadan are especially blessed and the odd nights hold great spiritual significance. He called for special prayers during these nights for the security, stability and prosperity of Pakistan and for the unity and success of the Muslim Ummah.Monem Zafar said Ramadan teaches patience, respect and the spirit of struggle for one's rights. He recalled the historic Battle of Badr, which took place during Ramadan, where 313 companions under the leadership of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) defeated a much larger army. He said the event teaches that with faith, patience and perseverance, divine support becomes inevitable.He further said that for more than two and a half years, the people of Gaza and Pales tine have continued their resistance. Thousands of Palestinians have been martyred, yet despite full support from the United States, Israel has failed to defeat the people of Gaza.Speaking on the occasion, Mirza Farhan Baig said that Landhi in Karachi had been deprived of basic facilities for years, particularly water supply, which became a major issue for residents.
