Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued non bailable arrest warrants of the person nominated as accused in the case of uploading fake video of information minister Punjab Uzma Bokhari.
The petition filed by Uzma Bokhari seeking cancellation of bail of the accused came up for hearing before Chief Justice (CJ) LHC Aalia Neelum.
The accused did not appear in the court despite court's orders.
Azhar Siddique advocate appeared on behalf of the accused Ali Hassan in the court.
The counsel for the petitioner took the plea the accused is not appearing in the trial court despite 25 hearings. Due to it the trial is facing delay . Therefore, the court should cancel the bail of the accused.
The court remarked why the accused has not appeared despite the court's notice.
The counsel said if the court says then we call the accused just now.
Chief Justice (CJ) LHC Aalia Neelum while expressing annoyance remarked notice was issued to the accused and not to lawyer.
The court issued non bailable arrest warrants of the accused Ali Hassan and adjourned the proceedings on the petition.
