Islamabad: PTI secretary general Suleman Akram Raja has said ticket has been given to wife of Omar Ayub because she comes upto the definition of political worker. To a question from journalist about giving ticket to wife of Omar Ayub in National Assembly constituency NA- 18 he said some matters are of local level. The constituency of Omar Ayub is the largest constituency of Pakistan.

He said wife of Omar Ayub is working as political worker since the last 20 years. Wife of Omar Ayub sees the politics of the constituency. It is not as such that she has no relevance with the politics or she is being imposed. It was right of wife of Omar Ayub and party acknowledged it.

On the occasion the journalist questioned has Omar Ayub accepted punishment of his disqualification in May 9 cases.

Suleman Akram Raja said no discussion was made by him to Omar Ayub or his counsel on this matter. What are its reasons , he does not know. I don't know why he has done so. Therefore, I will not talk on this matter.
