Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered to remove name of 8 persons of family of citizen Faizan from Exit Control List (ECL).

The court has issued this order in the case of placing name of his family members of citizen Faizan following his recovery.

The court remarked interior secretary should file affidavit and place the facts before court about including names. Interior secretary should present cabinet sub committee report within a week.

Justice Babar Sattar remarked " secretary Sahb, name of 13 years old child was also included. What is this going on.

Interior secretary said I regret. I see this matter.

The case against placing names of family members of citizen Faizan in ECL after his recovery came up for hearing in IHC Monday.

Interior secretary Khurram Ali Aghan appeared in the court on court's order.

The court remarked no working paper was presented on including names in ECL. Interior secretary should file affidavit and place the facts before the court about including name.

Justice Babar Sattar remarked interior secretary should present cabinet sub-committee report within a week.

The court remarked this is not matter of regret. will you include if some one sends name of your child.

Justice Babar Sattar remarked will you include name of mother and children of some one in ECL.

The court while moving to interior secretary remarked Additional Attorney General (AAG) Sahb, should your name be placed in ECL.

The court inquired how many cases are pending.

Justice Babar Sattar remarked there will be some working paper under which name was put in ECL.

The court remarked secretary Sahb you have not asked what is this all happening. File the affidavit.

The court ordered to remove name of 8 persons from ECL.

The court adjourned hearing of the case.
