ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has accepted adjournment plea of Maryam Nawaz and Capt (Retd) Safdar in Aven field reference.

Avenfield reference came up for hearing before a two members bench of IHC comprising Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiani here Wednesday.

Maryam Nawaz and Capt (Retd) Safdar appeared in the court.

The court accepted the adjournment plea from Irfan Qadir counsel for Maryam Nawaz and Capt (Retd) Safdar.

Capt (Retd) Safdar said there is wedding of his son therefore, the date for hearing be not fixed during these days. Walima will take place on December 17.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till December 21 without further proceedings.
