Peshawar: KPK government has approved availability of twenty platoons each from KPK police and Frontier Constabulary (FC) for security of AJK polls process.

The Elections for Azad Jammu and Kashmir legislative Assembly are set to be held on July 25.

KPK police and FC, along with AJK and Punjab police will be deployed at polling stations during the electoral process.

Sources on Sunday confirmed that KPK’s provincial government will handover services of more than 20 platoons to the AJK government.

The troops will enter AJK in different intervals.
