Lahore: Lahore High Court on Thursday upheld civil court’s decision for the resolution of conflict between LDA and Habib Construction Company regarding payment of additional charges.

According to details, the company had sued LDA for additional charges of 198 billion rupees, saying that due to stay orders of Lahore High Court, there was a delay in project, which cost company a huge loss.

LDA had challenged Civil Court’s decision, which provoked LDA to settle the matter through arbiter, saying that there was no breach of terms of references.

The Lahore High Court however, upheld Civil Court’s decision and ordered both parties to settle their issue through arbiter.
