RAWALPINDI: Judge Malik Ijaz Asif of Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi No 1 has approved interim bail of KP Chief Minister (CM) Ali Amin Gandapur in 12 different cases pertaining to May 9 incident.The court has cancelled arrest warrants of Ali Amin Gandapur in the case registered in city police station. The arrest warrants have already been issued.The court while adjourning the hearing of further proceedings on bail plea has summoned record of the cases.A lawyers panel comprising Muhammad Faisal Malik, Raja Mateen, Adil Mirza, Husnain sumbal and Aqil Khan appeared in the court on behalf of Ali Amin Gandapur.Muhammad Faisal advocate took the plea during the hearing of the case all the cases against the petitioner have been registered under malafide intent and political victimization. The petitioner has not been nominated even in a single case. Those who were nominated in the case directly and were present on the occasion have been bailed out. It is requirement of justice that the bail plea of the petitioner be accepted to meet the ingredient of justice.The court while issuing notice to the respondents after preliminary hearing has called record of the case.
