Quetta: As many as 15 persons have been killed in explosion on Quetta's Sariab Road According to media coordinator of health department one more injured in Sariab road explosion succumbed to injuries in civil hospital.

Balochistan Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar said on Wednesday while talking to media men in civil hospital 38 persons have been injured as a result of explosion. 8 injured are under treatment in Trauma centre at present.

He said inquiry committee has been constituted to investigate the matter.

The suicide bomber could not reach public meeting venue due to stringent security arrangements.

On the other Dr Wasim Baig said bodies have been handed over to families of the victims.

Those killed belonged to Quetta, Noshki, Dalbandin, Qalat, Khuzdar and other areas.

One body has been dispatched to Sindh.
