Islamabad: District administration has launched forceful anti dengue crack down in federal capital.

40 persons have been arrested for violating Dengue SOPs. Stern action has been taken against several trade centers, shops and residential areas.

According to district administration arrests were made from Dengue larva breeding sites.

Under assistant commissioner and anti dengue teams raids were conducted in different areas of Islamabad. 19 shops were sealed. Notices have been issued to homes on identification of larva in residential areas including Bhara Kahu. Anti dengue meetings are being held on day to day basis.

While calling daily performance report of anti dengue campaign Deputy Commissioner Islamabad has made it clear no negligence will be tolerated in campaign for destruction of larva.

DC has directed all concerned officers to file daily progress report in his office in connection with anti dengue campaign.

Citizens have been appealed to ensure daily cleanliness of their homes, offices, and surrounding areas.
