ISLAMABAD: The court has fixed March 02 to indict former interior minister Sheikh Rashid in the case pertaining to allegations against Asif Zardari for plotting to kill Imran Khan.

The case came up for hearing before judicial magistrate Umar Bashir Saturday.

Islamabad Police filed challan against Sheikh Rashid.

The judicial magistrate returned the application regarding registration of case against SHO of Aabpara police.

The magistrate remarked this application should be filed in the court of sessions judge. It does not fall in my jurisdiction.

The court fixed March 02 for indictment of Sheikh Rashid.

During the course of hearing Sheikh Rashid prayed to court that he has to participate in conference therefore, date of March 15 be given.

The court remarked there are orders of high court. Challan has come. Longer date cannot be given. When court’s trial begins then we will see it.
