Authorites visit Mardan during heavy rainfall

Peshawar:Member of Provincial Assembly Zahir Shah Toru and Chief Executive Officer WSSCM Engineer Amir Khan Mohmand visited different areas of Mardan city during heavy rainfall. They also reviewed the ongoing sanitation activities there.

MPA Zahir Shah Toru said PTI Provincial government is providing all possible facilities to the citizens in the available resources. He also directed the concerned authorities to remove the obstruction from drains.

All Government Departments have been put on high alert in different areas and relief operations are continued in full swing. Toru added,

Rescue, PDMA, WSSCs and other departments are on high alert and ready to deal with any emergency.

Toru Said under Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cities Improvement Project, the sanitation problem of Mardan city will be completely resolved.

WSSCM Chief Executive Officer Engineer Ameer Khan Mohmand said that they are trying to provide all possible facilities to the citizens of Mardan.

On a daily basis, 180 tons of waste is collected from the city and disposed off safely.

He said that during heavy rainfall our workers worked day and night to provide clean environment to the citizens of Mardan.
