Peshawar:Peshawar High Court (PHC) while accepting PTI leader Azam Swati plea for removing his name from Exit Control List (ECL) and Passport Control List (PCL) has wrapped up the case.
The petition came up for hearing before a division bench of PHC comprising Justice Syed Irshad Ali and Justice Dr Khurshid Iqbal.
Ali Azeem Afridi counsel for the petitioner told the court Azam Swati is scheduled to go abroad at 9 a.m on August 13 but he is unable to travel being his name in the list.
Despite court's order for removing his name from list, he was not allowed to go to airport.
Assistant Attorney General (AAG) took the plea during the hearing of the case that Azam Swati name is not included in any list now and he is allowed to travel.
FIA representative assured court the petitioner can go abroad now.
The court wrapped up the petition from Azam Swati after hearing the stance.
