Ban proposed for purchasing over 10000 dollars in the budget for fiscal 2022-23

ISLAMABAD: It has been proposed in the budget for the fiscal 2022-23 to levy one percent tax  on the payments through credit card.

 

Proposal has also been made to impose ban on purchasing over 10000 dollars in a month.

 

According to budget documents proposal has also been given to impose 2 percent tax on  the use of credit cards by Non-filers.

 

It has also been suggested to impose tax on use of credit and debit cards outside Pakistan. Income tax slabs can be reduced to 7. It has been proposed to increase the tax on the annual income above one million annually.

 

It has also been proposed to increase the tax  by four times on business class for international travelling.
